UPENDI COMMUNITIES
Our vision is to create Upendi Communities that are self-sufficient, and allow individuals to heal, rehabilitate, grow and learn in a safe environment run by Upendi Principles. A place where each individual has the opportunity to “give back” and feel worthy, no matter what their physical or financial circumstances are.
Each Upendi Community will be encouraged to develop all 6 sectors of the Upendi Foundation to allow for a holistic approach to life for the community.
Upendi Foundation will develop Self-sufficient communities that will focus on self sustainability and independence from external resources. Each Upendi Community will be developed with the traditional culture, values and belief system for the people within the community. The families and individuals that live in each Upendi Community, will develop their own food source through organic, hydroponic, aquaponic and biodynamic farming.
Anyone will be welcome at the Upendi Communities, the only requirements will be to behave with love and respect for one another and to agree to some form of exchange. In return the Upendi Communities will service the community at large and will provide health, rehabilitation, education & life skills, environmental healing, conservation rehabilitation and financial healing.
Each Upendi Community will have Health Clinics as well as Mobile Clinics, Disability Equipment, Recycling Warehouse, Furniture Warehouse, Community Center for training and social/business functions, Solar Power, Borehole Water, Water Purification System as well as container homes for families and individuals in need of homes.
