1. Purpose:
Upendi Foundation is established for the purpose of helping individuals to change their “poverty” mindset.
The Upendi Foundation will encourage different forms of exchange.
If you do not have currency, it does not mean you have nothing to give. Other commodities we place a value on are:
-
Donating TIME, time is the most valuable resource we as humans have, yet no value gets placed on an individual’s time unless they are paid for it.
-
Donating a pint of BLOOD can help save a life. How much would we pay to save a loved one? Yet we place no value on the life-giving blood that runs through our veins.
-
Donating SKILLS means leveraging the specialized skills and talents of individuals to strengthen the infrastructure of the Upendi Foundation.
-
Donating PLASTIC, not only helps to clean-up the environment, it, enables us the resource to make eco bricks.
-
To create Upendi Communities that are self-sufficient, and allow individuals to heal, rehabilitate, grow and learn in a safe environment run by Upendi Principles.
-
A place where each individual has the opportunity to “give back” and feel worthy, no matter what their physical or financial circumstances are.

Donations made to Upendi Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
